Mr. Saha: My expertise is in capturing candid moments in various events… I shoot events, music videos, portfolio, product shoot etc.

Mr. Saha: The prospects of photography is increasing in our country day by day… I would give a rating of 8.

Moni: Not bad at all, you are very much talented Mr Saha have you ever thought of persuing your talents out of your country? If no, why?

Mr. Saha: Yes I have thought about it. And I am working on it though.

Moni: Well, that’s a good news then I guess. So, how long have you been working in the photography arena?

Mr. Saha: I have been working in the photography arena for three years as a full timer & around six years as a part timer.

Moni: Interesting, Why did you choose this line of work? You know there might be risk and all.

Mr. Saha: Honestly speaking Moni, I choose photography because it was my passion.

Moni: Ok, What were the challenges that you most commonly have faced and how did you deal with them?

Mr. Saha: The biggest challenge that we face is the mindset that anybody and everybody can do photography, it doesn’t require any special skill. I dealt with the challenge by clicking unique & creative photographs.

Moni: I don’t know what to say after this, so I’ll move on to the next question. What do you enjoy the most about your job as a photographer?

Mr. Saha: Ummm, I love everything about my work but I would say getting a chance to meet various people and exploring different places.

Moni: Have you ever faced a difference of opinion with a client? How did you handle it?

Mr. Saha: Yes. I handled the difference in opinion and I dealt with it by explaining my point of view, about which I don’t want to get into the details.

Moni: No issues, when it comes to work what is your biggest strength and weakness?

Mr. Saha: Biggest strength is creativity & punctuality & my weakness is I forget everything else while I am at work.

Moni: Haha, totally understandable. What inspires you at your work?

Mr. Saha: The desire to challenge my own work inspires me in my work.

Moni: How do you make a picture stand out?

Mr. Saha: I make a picture stand out by using different angles and different light.

Moni: Mr. Saha how much experience do you have in Photography field?

Mr. Saha: Approximately, around 10 years.

Moni: Photography. What does it mean to you?

Mr. Saha: It is my bread & butter as well as my passion, in short it is my life.

Moni: Ok last question, If you were to give advice to a rookie about how to become a photographer, what would you say? What would you not say?

Mr. Saha: I would ask him/her to have patience to capture the perfect moment & I would not tell him/her that the journey he is undertaking is a difficult one. In short I won’t discourage anyone.

Moni: Well Thank You so much Mr. Saha for sharing your experiences with us. Thank You for this interview.
